Code Noctis

During the summer of 2011 Govannon decided to broaden it's horizons and start a new adventure in the game development business. As most of us are avid gamers since the beginning of PC games, we tend to have quite some experience in this area. We notice that the games now a days are not really about gameplay anymore but focus more and more on the so called "Hollywood Factor". At the moment the Game Industry is making more money then the Movie Industry. We long for the old days where gameplay reigned over graphics. To take you down the path of memory lane you just have to think of title's like : X-Com : Terror of the Deep , Jagged Alliance , Baldur's Gate and the good old Pool of Radiance : Ruins of Myth Drannor

Games now a days just pale compared by these old ones and we thought it's time to change that. Or at least, we'll try our bloody best! The first step was settling on a GameEngine that would give us a head start. After some research and trials we found Unity3d to be the ideal candidate considering our requirements. With it we can develop cross-platform and they, like us, like to use bleeding edge technologies.
